The petition of 700 organisations forming a network to push for a ban on the use of hazardous agricultural chemicals in Thailand was received yesterday by Mr Krisada Boonraj, the Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, on behalf of the Thai Prime Minister.

The Network in Support of Banning Dangerous Chemicals, composed of 369 organizations, would like to express its regret regarding the decision taken by the Hazardous Substances Control Bureau today (23rd May 2018) not to ban paraquat and chlorpyrifos.
